Please, allow me to introduce my family and myself.
My husband Robert and I live in the western part of Lincoln County, in Cat Square. It is a primarily rural area made up of family farms and small home industries. Robert grew up in Kentucky and I grew up in the eastern part of Lincoln County. We are both self employed in the housing industry. Robert owns Robert L. Cox Construction and I am a Realtor. We make a great team and it is wonderful to be able to share your work with your spouse! We have six children, one son and five daughters. Our kids range in age from 9-24 years old and are all still in school and working. We have a small farm with chickens,donkeys and goats, more for fun than any other reason. But if you love fresh eggs, just ask we always have too many!
Being an agent is hard on a family. That is one of the main reasons most agents only last 3-5 years. My family understands this job and the sacrifices we all make for it. They know that I don't keep "regular" hours, most of the time our plans are made last minute, even on my days "off" there is always some work that I have to do. Real Estate is a family business, no matter how you run it. If an agent doesn't have the support of their family, they won't be able to run their business.
